Hopewell Furnace to host ‘Calm Before the Storm’

The free event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will highlight the debate over the presidential election of that year which eventually led to Abraham Lincoln winning the presidency, despite a lack of support from Berks County voters.
