Gilcrease Museum hosts interactive Civil War exhibit, series
September 29, 2010 | Posted by javal They’ll be warring this Saturday in a little skirmish called the Red River Shootout, but it’s another north-south struggle that will take place at Gilcrease Museum. Well, a re-enactment, anyway.
“Art Blast: American Beginnings,” a day-long, hands-on exhibit with a focus on American history, features a series of Civil War re-enactments and other events themed to a related Gilcrease exhibit that runs through August 2011.
