History buffs relive Hillsborough’s role in Civil War
October 4, 2010 | Posted by javal Union troops made an amphibious landing, confederates charged their ranks, canons roared and bodies lay strewn across the grass during a re-enactment today of Hillsborough’s role in the Civil War.
Except for the cars and trucks parked nearby, the scene could have been straight out of 1863.
