Hardin County Seeks Funds to Document Civil War

The Hardin County History Museum has applied for the grant to document the Battle of Elizabethtown.
During the raid on Dec. 27, 1862, Confederate Gen. John Hunt Morgan’s troops fired more than 100 cannonballs into the heart of town on their way to attack railroad
trestles to the north.
