Civil War Days
October 12, 2010 | Posted by javal Columbus-Belmont State Park was packed Saturday for the annual Civil War Day event. Hundreds of Union and Confederate re-enactors staged a mock battle to thousands of onlookers during the event with blazing cannons, crackling rifles and lots of smoke. During the battle, Union soldiers that had attacked Southern armies on the site were pushed back by Confederate rebels.
