Civil War statue revealed again
October 26, 2010 | Posted by javal There’s a new view of a 97-year-old statue outside the Hall County Courthouse.
The Union soldier stands atop an engraved base that pays tribute to the “defenders of our country. 1861-1865-1898-1900.”
It was a gift from the city of Grand Island and originally unveiled in October 1913.
