Novel “Gone With The Wind” Inspires New Book, Film & Conference

If you are a “Gone With The Wind” fan, then the weekend of Nov. 5-7 will be a godsend. And to paraphrase the words of actress Hattie McDaniel, “it won’t be fittin’” to miss what is being dubbed as the GWTW Conference.

The gala “Gone With The Wind” (GWTW) Conference is the brainchild of Sally Tippett Rains of Affton, who has put together a series of events that begins with a discussion of plantation life at White Haven in Grantwood Village on a Friday and ends with the actual showing of “Gone With The Wind” on Sunday at Webster University’s Winifred Moore Auditorium.
