Friends of Athens battlefield site to host Christmas Tea fundraiser

The Friends of Athens have set a date and a new location for their Christmas Tea, a fundraiser for the Battle of Athens State Historic Site in northern Clark County.

The traditional English-style high tea, complete with several courses and entertainment, will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 5, at the Trump Heritage Haus Bed and Breakfast on East Main Street in Kahoka.
