Land Conservancy for SCC aids in restoration of civil war cemetery

After years of neglect, a local cemetery with a long history is finally getting some much-needed attention.

On Sunday, dozens of area residents with a passion for history turned out for a solemn event celebrating the memory of black soldiers from the Civil War.
