Q&A: Springfield, Ill., resident has portrayed 16th president since 1970s

Making an appearance Monday night at Elsie Plaster Center on the Crowder College campus was the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, as portrayed by Fritz Klein, Springfield, Ill.

Klein started portraying Lincoln in the 1976, when he was involved in drama as a hobby. At the time, he was a professional landscaper in Hawaii.Prior to taking the stage on Monday, the Neosho Daily News asked Klein a series of questions.
