Consultants urge plan for Lincoln Heritage Area

Consultants for the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area encouraged Altonians to collaborate on a master plan to promote and preserve the history of the area – namely, that related to Lincoln or the era of his lifetime.

Joined by representatives from the National Park Service and Looking for Lincoln Heritage Coalition, the two-hour-plus meeting Tuesday at the Jacoby Arts Center, 627 E. Broadway, left the organizing work and focus in the hands of the remaining 25 attendees.
