Our area is rich with stories about the Civil War. Local residents’ ancestors have passed down tales from their time in the military or simply living in South Carolina at the time.

In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the war, we’d like you to share your family’s history with readers. These stories will become part of our ongoing coverage of the war.
