50 Neighbors: A tribute to the past
People who visit Carthage Civil War Museum every Friday might think they have traveled back to 1861 when they are greeted by a man with the handle bar moustache and blue wool coat of a Union officer.
Paul Kash has become a fixture at the museum, giving tours, answering questions and lending a touch of authenticity to the discussion about the battle in Carthage between a Union force and the Missouri State Guard on July 5, 1861.
