History museum helper is honored for research
A Bullitt County History Museum volunteer was recently honored by the Kentucky Historical Society.
Jose Rosario was given an award of merit at the 2010 Kentucky History Celebration Nov. 5 at the Old State Capitol for his work over two years researching Henry Mattingly, a Bullitt soldier who fought with the Union Army in the Civil War and was awarded the Medal of Honor, the highest honor a U.S. soldier can receive.
