“Stonewall” Jackson house seen as boosting tourism
Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson was a general during the Civil War and arguably one of the most well-known Confederate commanders behind Robert E. Lee.
He was also born right here in Clarksburg.
Some city and county officials have claimed that building a “Stonewall” Jackson replica house would promote tourism within the city of Clarksburg.
