The four books covered here are among the newest of the dozens published in the past year.
Anya Jabour, Atlanta-born and now a University of Montana history professor, researches children and families vigorously. Her new book, “Topsy-Turvy,” grows from a simple yet profound question: What did it feel like for Southern children who matured with a civil war raging around them?
