Kentucky events to mark 150th anniversary of start of Civil War
January 10, 2011 | Posted by javal The approaching 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War has spawned plans for dozens of programs and projects in Kentucky.
In September, Frankfort will play host to a Civil War music festival with brass bands, coronets, fifes and drums, and Bowling Green will recognize its occupation under the Confederacy.
