Big improvements coming to CWi

Loyal Readers -

We wanted to let you in a a few major changes coming to CWi. What few know is that we currently use a total of four different web platforms to put together the site. This makes a smooth, attractive site nearly impossible.

Among the changes will be a major improvement in our News section – more stories, illustrated and much better categorized. Some sections will be done away with (book reviews, documents,etc.).It’s time to stop trying to be everything to everyone. NEWS IS OUR PRIORITY!

A few things that will stay (but in a more integrated form) will be This Day, Biographies, and an improved discussion board. Trivia will return, but will have to be out on hiatus for a month or so as we do all this other stuff.

In short – we’re going back to being mainly a Civil War Newspaper. More details later!
