Public gets say on Wal-Mart near Va battlefield
Hundreds of historians have had their say on Wal-Mart’s plans to build a Supercenter near a Civil War battlefield in Virginia.
Thursday night, Orange County residents get their chance to speak out on the matter.
The Planning Commission is not expected to vote immediately after the hearing on the special permit Wal-Mart will need to build the 138,000 square foot store. Supervisors will have the final say.
