Lincoln returning to Dover in May

On March 2, 1860, Abraham Lincoln stepped off the train at Dover’s Third Street train station. In celebration of Lincoln’s 200th birthday, Dover will welcome Lincoln back during a weekend-long reenactment of his historic trip. Federal Savings Bank is proud to contribute to this exciting event as the major event sponsor.

The weekend-long celebration, which begins May 30, will feature Lincoln traveling down Central Avenue in a carriage escorted by a mounted cavalry.
