Portions of Civil War docu-drama being filmed in Hagerstown
July 7, 2009 | Posted by javal The cast and crew of Historical Entertainment came to Hagerstown to film scenes as part of a docu-drama that will portray the Confederate retreat from Gettysburg, Pa., in July 1863.
Tom Riford, President of the Hagerstown-Washington County Convention and Visitors Bureau, said, “The CVB is pleased to be a financial sponsor of the film, and is providing hotel rooms for the cast and crew. This docu-drama will tell an important story about Washington County’s involvement during the many battles fought in July 1863.”
