Re-enactment revives Civil War connection

Otterville will welcome factions from both sides of the Mason-Dixon line this weekend.

North will meet South Saturday and Sunday as the South Oxford Historical Society hosts what has become and annual Civil War Re-Enactment encampment at the Station Museum/Woodlawn site.

The encampment will be open to the public both days from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with admission by donation. Guests will be welcome to tour the camps, partaking in demonstrations of camp life, a civilian fashion show and browse period merchants.
