Richard Moe, longtime president of National Trust for Historic Preservation, steps down
The longtime leader of the National Trust for Historic Preservation, who fought key preservation battles in Chicago and dramatically expanded his organization’s mission, announced Tuesday that he will retire from the job next year.
Richard Moe, 72, a Minnesota native who once served as chief of staff to Vice President Walter Mondale, made the announcement at the trust’s Washington, D.C. headquarters.
