Confederate Park puts cannons in storage
November 12, 2009 | Posted by javal To make way for a planned renovation, city officials have removed six cannons from Downtown’s Confederate Park.
The removal is part of a $1.5 million plan to make the park more compatible with the adjacent University of Memphis Law School, scheduled to open in January in the former post office.
