Raid on Fort Pierce event this weekend

The enactment of the fictional Raid on Fort Pierce battle is Dec. 12 and 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Savannas Recreation Area, 1400 East Midway Road, Fort Pierce.

Cost is adults, $5 each; children over 6 years, $1; children under 6 years, free. Parking is free.

The enactment is of a fictional Civil War battle in period uniforms and replica period weapons. This battle is hosted by 8th Florida Company C 75th Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment.
