Travellers Rest gets Civil War Trails tour marker
December 15, 2009 | Posted by javal Travellers Rest Plantation will receive a marker from the Civil War Trails’ multi-state program at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, recognizing its involvement in the Battle of Nashville.
Travellers Rest is at 636 Farrell Parkway.
The Civil War Trails program identifies, interprets and creates driving tours of various Civil War sites and runs through Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee and West Virginia.
