Heroine Tubman Comes to Life at GH Library
A free presentation March 30 at the Gig Harbor branch of Pierce County Library will bring to life Harriet Tubman, an abolitionist who was known as the Moses of her people for rescuing hundreds of people from slavery through the “Underground Railroad.”
Lakewood-based Brown Tones Production will host a presentation of songs and storytelling that will give the audience an impression they’re meeting Tubman, according to organizers.
