Dinesen Cabin Restoration Complete

The Dinesen Log Cabin was built back between 1865 and 1866 and is filled with a rich history.
“It was built by the U.S. Government during the Civil War because the Military would arrive here and stay over night on there journey to the upper peninsula back when they were mining for copper as part of the war effort. After the war effort the cabin was used as a postal drop off point, then it went into private ownership over the years,” Richard Ackley Jr. Public Relations for Mole Lake Casino said.
