Plays bring Civil War to life

The Alabama Shakespeare Festival isn’t just staging plays. The state’s most prestigious theater is staging a war — The Civil War.

ASF is working with the Alabama Tourism Department to create two plays in 2011 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the famous struggle.
