Corinth, Mississippi – A Little Known Siege of the Civil War

From Shiloh, Tennessee we drove the twenty-two miles south to Corinth, Mississippi located in the Northeast corner of the state. Most people have heard of the Battle of Shiloh, one of the bloodiest in the Civil War, but few know about the siege of Corinth. Corinth during the 1860s was a major railroad crossing connecting the North to the South and the East with the West.
