Efforts under way to honor Reynolds

A historic figure from Centerburg is about to be memorialized.

The Sons of Confederate Veterans of the Civil War and some local individuals are raising money for a State of Ohio Historical Marker for Confederate Gen. Daniel Reynolds.

“The Sons of Confederate Veterans is an organization where our descendants fought for the Confederacy. This is a project that we thought we could spread information about an Ohioan who fought for the Confederacy,” said Jeff Yoest, a member of the Gen. Roswell Ripley Camp of the SCV, based out of Worthington.
