Auction of Civil War books nets $2,000 plus for Murrieta Library
A collection of Civil War-related books proved a treasure trove for the Friends of the Murrieta Library.
The Friends, a nonprofit fundraising group that supports the library, raised $2,251 from a silent auction in June by selling a collection of 25 books about the Civil War that was anonymously donated.
