National Cemetery gets federal stimulus money

Culpeper National Cemetery will receive nearly $500,000 in federal stimulus money to update and maintain the historic burial ground that dates to the Civil War era.

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced this week that Culpeper and Winchester national cemeteries will receive a combined $915,331 for maintenance projects, repairs and equipment at the two sites.
