Samuel Thomas – you’ve probably never heard of him. And I’m sure his name meant nothing to the teen marauders who recently toppled nearly 40 headstones at the Carlisle Cemetery. The tall, white pillar that once adorned his grave now lies in the grass, pushed over by insensitive buffoons seeking a cheap thrill. It seems the trials Samuel endured during his life continue even now, more that 100 years after his death.
