WCHS offers up more information on Civil War soldier
August 17, 2010 | Posted by javal Following an Aug. 12 Gazette story about a Bayport City Council member’s search for a Civil War soldier’s grave, Washington County Historical Society Executive Director Brent Peterson has offered more information about Louis Muller, a hero at Gettysberg.
Muller originally enlisted in Company B, 1st Minnesota, then transferred to Company E as a captain. Muller was killed at Gettysberg on July 2, 1863
