Talk to bring Civil War alive for residents of the historic West Fields
August 24, 2010 | Posted by javal Research into Civil War history at the local level will be discussed by Steven D. Glazer, a member of the New Jersey Civil War Sesquicentennial Committee, at the Genealogical Society of the West Fields on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Westfield Memorial Library, 550 East Broad Street.
Glazer is currently completing a booklet tentatively titled, “Discovering Your Community’s Civil War Heritage,” a guide for researchers. Members of the public are encouraged to attend and learn.
