Civil War living history program set in Jefferson

Ashe County’s Civil War veterans likely don’t get out much anymore, but on Sept. 25 they are specially invited to the Civil War living history jointly sponsored by The 26th Regiment of North Carolina Troops Reactivated re-enactment unit, and The Museum of Ashe County History. Members of the 26th North Carolina will be holding a living history on the grounds of the museum at 301 East Main Street in Jefferson from 10 a.m. through 3 p.m.
