Lakeshore Museum Center offering Civil War experience

Heritage Park at Hilt’s Landing soon will be transformed into a Civil War encampment courtesy of the Lakeshore Museum Center.

“This should be a fun, family event with something for everybody,” said the museum’s executive director, John McGarry. “The event will educate the public on the Civil War era in a different and hands-on way. History buffs and just about anyone should enjoy this.”
