Like a superhero, John Miller spends much of his time trying to right wrongs.
Battling misconceptions about the Civil War, the South Mountain Battlefield historian, interpreter and seasonal park ranger said working closely with people is a better way to educate them than presenting classic re-enactments.

Just FYI, this is tagged incorrectly as “Virginia,” but the article is about a ranger/historian at South Mountain State Battlefield Park, which is located in Maryland and was published in the Frederick (Md.) News-Post.
