TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION TO DEDICATE CIVIL WAR MONUMENT IN MISSISSIPPI
September 17, 2010 | Posted by javal Thanks to donations from members of the Civil War Preservation Trust, the Austin Civil War Roundtable, and other private contributions, the Texas Historical Commission (THC) will dedicate a monument next month honoring Texas troops who fought in the Battle of Corinth, Miss. in 1862. The monument will be dedicated near the interpretive center of the Corinth Unit of Shiloh National Military Park on Sunday, October 3, 2010.
