Are there any Robert E. Lee pictures or paintings out there that don't depict Lee in a battle.  For example, Lee resting beside a river, walking his horse in the sunset, or maybe a younger picture of him.  I'm just looking for something different and out of the ordinary.  Ideally something scenic.  Let me know if you have got anything.  Thanks.

There is a print of Lee, when he was a Col in the US Army, a post war print of him as a Col in Virginia Militia, one with his sons on a porch after the war, and I believe one of him when he was the President of Washington College (now Washington and Lee). These are the only ones I can think of.

If you mean something "modern" to hang on your wall.

Mort Kunstler has done many of Lee in "non-battle scenes."

Visit his website at http://www.mortkunstler.com/

In fact, I just wrote a story about my recent Kunstler buying experience on my blog: http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/pinstripepress/PPBlog/

Those two prints you chose are wonderful  I bet they look good on the wall together.  Thanks for sharing the website.
