I heard Ed Cotham speak last year at the West Coast Civil War Round Table Conference in Fresno. He did two presentations . One on the Battle of Galveston and the other on Battle of Sabine Pass. He is not to be missed if you get a chance. He was a story teller . Not just telling the facts but telling the story even adding some humor when it was there to be told.
Wish I was going to be in the area to hear him.
This years West Coast Round Table in in Sacramento November 10-12. The theme is Aspects of the War on the Waters. Ed Bearss and Craig Symonds are speaking . Our own Jim Strandbery from Orange County Round Table and board member at the Drum Barracks will also be speaking .
David thanks for the information. I plan to e there for the whole conference. A whle group of us from Orange County Round Table are going again this year. We went to Fresno last year . Had a great time . Learned a lot about the Civil War in the Southwest last year.
