I'm not a lawyer (thank God), but I try to follow what I believe to be profesional courtesy. To answer your question about posting someone else's post with your name as the author, I can say this: you'd probably get away with it, unless I happened to read the same post written by the original author, in which case you would be banned from this board for good. But from what I know about you, you certainly wouldn't even consider doing that.
As for the post you're refering to, let me put it this way: if you post it here, you must disclose the original author, the site it was originally posted on, and link to that site. While I daoubt any webmaster would have a problem with that, if they did and let me know they did, I would immediately remove it. Hope that answers your questions...
