Folks,
We are preparing to add a right side bar similar to the one on the left. One of the features within this sidebar will be a list of Civil War Roundtables and organizations which our members belong to.
Ashbel, I already got yours. Susan, no need to submit the Drum Barracks since that will be there as well. All others, feel free to leave a post with yours. Please include the full name of the group and the URL. Sorry, but the group must have at least a minimal website to be listed.
As you can tell, we're trying to make the discussion board a sort of Civil War portal as well as a discussion board. In that vein, we want to encourage all members to list any upcoming events you know of on the calendar (just click the "Calendar" button at the top of the page, and don't forget to set your listing to "Public").
Any suggestings on more improvements to the board can also be posted here. Thanks....

Great idea. Thanks for adding the Fort Worth Civil War Round Table. It really helps our exposure to have the added link.
I hope everyone adds a link to their site for CWI. It works both ways.

What a great, grand idea! Sometime back, I spent a lot of time and effort putting a gentleman in touch with an RT close to him. This sidebar would have been his answer. Javal, you are a freaking genius!

Well thanks Ole I was afraid another sidebar would really squish (a technical term) the board for those with small monitors, but this was something I really wanted to do. Glad you like it.

Joe, Ole is right it is a great idea . Thanks for including not only our local round table but the Drum Barracks. We are very proud of our Civil War museum here in Southern California.

Javal - it looks good. Even on my small screen it doesn't make the whole index page look squished, which is an achievement in itself. I'm wondering if it should be labelled "Members", as in the title of this thread, just in case a confused visitor thinks the links are in anyway affiliated with this site.
