We wanted to let everyone know that as of now (7:00am, Wednesday) we are unable to update CWi. We had a server outage yesterday, which was expected as our host installed new servers. However now we are unable to connect to the server with the program we use to update CWi. We don't even have a way to post something on the site, since we can't get to it. They're working on it, but news and trivia for today are up in the air. Will delete this when problem is resolved....

Joe I agree with David. I was worried it was you that had taken a turn for the worse . Hope you are getting better . I know we all are concerned about your health. Take care of yourself.

Thanks for the concern folks, and I apologize for the outage. The server says their working on it.
As for the health, I'm slowly getting better. Still in bed most of the time - thank goodness for laptops! The drugs are kicking my a** though  Thanks again.

UPDATE
Thursday, 5:30am..... no change. Site's still inaccessible. I'm ready to explode.Too early to cancel news, trivia and This Week in the Blogs, but it isn't looking good.

Don't explode! Maybe this is the sign just to relax and get better, if it takes another day or two or even longer all your loyal readers will wait. In the meantime I need to order some books from Amazon so I'll just click on the links here, I assume that is not broken, right or should I wait? i.e. you'll get paid by Amazon.

David and all,
Appreciate that. Our gift shop should be working fine. It's now 9:45am, and they're still working on it. We have no choice but to cancel news, trivia, and TWIB for today and hope for better luck tomorrow. Really apologize to everyone.

UPDATE
Friday, 6:30am - Although there is now a message up on the servers site saying "everything should now be back to normal, if not e-mail us", we still have no access, We have e-mailed them to let them know, and we're hopeful we'll be back later today. I'm slowly moving the razor blade away from my wrist

I hadn't thought to check here for an update as to why Trivia (and everything else) wasn't being updated. Well, now I know. And please, whatever you do, put the razor blade away. There's Bud Shootout practice this afternoon. Life is finally looking up. Bud Shootout tomorrow, the Twin 150s next Thursday, the Daytona 500 next Sunday, and the contuing saga between Junior and his step-mom. BTW, who will you be cheering for these days now that Mark Martin is semi-retired?

Not even to mention we have to see how well Toyota performs in the NASCAR circuit and who will be proven to be the real father of Anna Nicole Smith's daughter and who will be the Final Twelve on American Idol!!!!! There is so much to live for.

Thought I would sleep better tonight, having discovered these messages, and learning the problem is not Joe's health, but some server mystery, but I am not sure now, perhaps I will lay awake wondering who is Anna Nicole Smith? What is American Idol? Maybe it has something to do with Nascar, I don't know anything about that either.

I just wanted to say how dissapointed I am in so many of you. The thought that you can't realize the national implications of the death of a silicon-filled pin-up who drove 900 miles in a diaper only to be raped by the Duke Lacrosse team saddens me. Have you no shame people?

As the front page says:
We apologize for our sudden disappearance. Because of some server work, we were unable to connect to the site. We couldn't even get to it to post a message letting you know what was going on. The work seems to have wiped out the navigation of the site, which we'll reconstruct over the next few days. We apologize to all.
