yeah they are great but if we tell them that to much we might swell their egos and their heads.

Younglobo , naa I am not talking to your wife.  That's a different story .  That is a wife's job to keep her husband in line such as Johan wife with the skillet.  I am sure they do a good job so we don't need to here.

Susan

younglobo at least you haven't mention that your wife has a skillet like Johan's .  :)

I have learned over the years being friends with couples one does not get in the middle of the two.

Y'all are amusing. Dear One is a little bit and hates my cast iron cookware. "Can't lift it." Right. But she has her ways of injuring my person. So. Although I need not fear the ninja skillet, she has other weapons of missus destruction. She claims she can't lift the 10" skillet, but I know for a fact that she can wield the 2# hammer. Makes sleeping a bit chancy.

Beware!

Y'all can call me "Reb" 'cause I take that as a compliment. Who out that there has had the Wilderness/Chancellorsville/Spotsylvania experience?? With my trusty copies of Blue & Gray Generals' Tour on hand, I tramped those extensively. Best part of Chancellorsville was following Jackson's flank march route. It's too bad that the area around Salem Church has been destroyed by urban sprawl.

Tramping Spotsylvania was unforgettable. I followed Upton's attack path, the union advance from the McCoul House, stood at the Bloody Angle, saw the site of Sedgwick's death, etc. Truly one of the highlights of my battlefield wanderings.

Hi Reb Til Death...and thanks for the welcome. I don't mind sharing "reb" with you as it was a generic term for all of us anyway. That good with you???

Hi Bama...did you get to see Massaponax Church while you were there??? You know, the church where that series of photos of Grant, Meade and others were taken??? I stood on the spot where Grant was sitting on the pew and had my (ex)-girlfriend take a photo from a similar position as the original photographer. While not an exact match, it came out pretty close. I swear I could smell cigar smoke that day.
