Chip in for the Tiger. As I tell my one and only squeeze, leave me alone during those times. Doc C

Vive la difference. Glad to see that people of differing preference can at least get together on the common ground of quarreling about the WBTS. ole

The journeyman, Rocko, almost tamed the Tiger. One of the best opens I've ever seen. Tiger had to dig deep to win this one. Doc C

Doc, I was exhausted just watching it, and I don't think I ever left my seat. I'm a Tiger fan and glad he won, but would not have been heartbroken had Rocko pulled it out. To have that stamina, not to mention still maintaining the love of the game at 45 years old is impressive as hell. Agree, best Open I ever watched.

I agree tigers up there with Nicklaus, Palmer, Hogan. One of the greats. My problem is that there's a lot of other great golfers out there who just seem to fade at the shear mention of tigers name. He deserves all of his acolades but would like to see others just step up occasionally, like Mediate. As an aside I've seen Tiger 6 times in person and he never ceases to amaze me (first time, hit a 650 yard par 5 in 2). Doc C

My main requirement in majors is I just don't want anyone to back into the title, which didn't happen today. Tiger earned it (he had to dig deep). Doc C

What a great tournament! The debate will go on as to whether or not Tiger is the best golfer of all time. But in my mind there is no debate as to who is the best clutch putter of all time. No one has ever had the ability to make a putt like he has. Like Rocco said about Tiger's 12 footer to tie: "I knew he was going to make it."

The fact that Tiger essentially won it with one leg tied behind his back, as it were (and apparently against doctors' orders), will simply add to his legend. Remarkable.
