Hey everybody!!  Long time no talk! :D

My family went camping up North the other day and passed a billboard on I-75 North that was advertising the Battle of Tunnel Hill re-enactment.  My mom looked at me and said, "Hey, that re-enactment is tomorrow!"  And thus we found ourselves finding a nearby campsite in Ringgold and heading to the re-enactment the next day!

I was very pleased with the event, although it was my first one, so what do I know??;)  I was able to meet the guys from the 28th Georgia regiment which I'm planning to join, so that was a special treat.  I also bought my brogans and Slouch hat!  I'm officially on my way to reenacting and it was all because of a billboard that we saw!!  I guess they're important after all.......:?

Christian,

Congratulations!

I am glad you enjoyed the experience! The more you reenact, the more you'll learn about what to do, how to "act" , what gear you'll need or not need, etc.

I hope you do get more reenacting time this year and are safe and have fun!
