Younglobo: I do hate horses. But there is something about them that's quite noble. (Even if they are stupid.)

In our batttalion we do not have elections.  We like our Colonel,Lt.Col. & the rest of our staff officers.  In our Battalion every one of our officers will say you want it?.........well then here it is.  Each of our officers are not only liked, but respected.  Our Colonel enjoys falling in when he can at smaller events as a Private.

In my Company our rank structure is raither small.  We don't need alot of  bars and stripes running around. Our unit has a Captain(,Lt,when the Capt.cannot attend), and always a 1stSgt.  We used to have elections but the same people kept getting elected over and over. My unit decided to do the same as our Battalion and just not hold elections.  If you want it........here it is.  I will be glad to give it to you and go back into the ranks.  I have been 1stSgt about 4 years now.  Our Captain has been in that position for about eight years now.  I can assure you if our battalion,or our Company didn't think we could do the job we would not be in those positions  Both the Capt. & I enjoy going to events that we can be pvts.  We can adapt very easy to whatever the circumstance dictates.
