I've just received this book this morning, I bet they didn't think it would end up here when it was withdrawn from Washington Court House Library Ohio:D

I just want to make sure I'm correct in thinking the next book in the series is,

The Battles for Spotsylvania Court House and the Road to Yellow Tavern, May 7-12, 1864

It seems pretty obvious to me but I'd like to be sure before I order it.

Roger,

Rhea's books on the Overland Campagin, in order of publication, are:

1. "The Battle of the Wilderness, May 5-6, 1864," 1994.

2. "The Battles for Spotsylvania Court House and the Road to Yellow Tavern, May 7-12, 1864," 1997.

3. "To the North Anna River, Grant and Lee, May 13-25, 1864," 2000.

4. "Cold Harbor, Grant and Lee, May 26-June 3, 1864," 2002.

I've found Rhea's treatment of a complicated campaign to be clear and well written. He's served as a tour guide several times at the Civil War Institute and is a relaxed and easy going fellow and very knowledgeable about his subject.

PvtC, Thanks a lot, thats a great help. I've had a quick flick through Wildernes and I'm looking forward to making a start on it once I've finished Landscape Turned Red.

Rhea may not be the best source of information (then again, he may be), but all his books are well worth having.
